This is a trailer I created for a gay Gothic romance anthology called Gothika #1: Stitch. In addition to my story, called Watchworks, the anthology also contains stories by Eli Easton, Sue Brown, and Kim Fielding.
It will be released in April 2014.
The music for this video was written by Jamie Fessenden (me), and all of the images are, to the best of my knowledge, public domain or purchased stock photos.
I saw the trailer in Kim’s tweet but didn’t realize you had written the music. It’s now that much cooler. I’m looking forward to this.
Thanks!
I didn’t realize you’d written the music either! Amazing! It suits perfectly.
I originally began writing it for a trailer for Billy’s Bones, but it didn’t really seem to fit. Eventually, I realized it would be a much better match for Stitch, so I finished it up this week.
That’s quite amazing. After reading Murderous Requiem I knew you knew music reasonably well, but being able to compose is very cool.
Yes, I majored in music in college. It’s nice to still make use of it, even if I’m not doing anything professionally.
I played in bands all the way through college but set it aside when I went to grad school, sadly.
